What are FairPlay Vouchers and how can they help your family participating at Redcliffe Little Athletics?
FairPlay vouchers are a Queensland Government initiative to help children participate in physical activity, including sport and active recreation. If your child is eligible, the FairPlay voucher valued up to $150 can be used towards membership, registration, or participation fees.
Redcliffe Little Athletics is an approved FairPlay activity provider, and we accept one FairPlay voucher per athlete at sign-on.
To be eligible, your child needs to be aged between 5 and 17 years and living in Queensland. There is a limit of 1 voucher per child per calendar year.
How does this affect the registration costs? Registration for the first athlete is $210. With a FairPlay voucher, registration is reduced to $10, plus the $80 Parent Help Levy. Subsequent athletes in the same family will be free with FairPlay vouchers. FairPlay vouchers cannot be used towards Parent Levy ($80) or uniforms.
To apply for a FairPlay voucher, go to the Queensland Government FairPlay page. After you have received your FairPlay voucher, bring it to Redcliffe Little Athletics for sign-on.
